Daniel González Herrera is an Associate Lecturer of Public International Law at the University of Salamanca. A Laureate of the Extraordinary Award for his performance in the Master in European Union Studies of the University of Salamanca (2014), he obtained his Law Degree at the same University on June 2013. At present, he is developing his PhD thesis on judicial dialogue among the main European courts and tribunals (such as the CJEU, the ECtHR and the constitutional courts of the Member States) under the supervision of Prof. José Martín y Pérez de Nanclares, Head of the Law Division of the Spanish Ministry of International Affairs.
Previously, he enjoyed an internship in the Europe Direct Information Centre in Salamanca funded by the European Commission (February 2013 – October 2015). He enjoyed an internship in the European Documentation Centre of the University of Salamanca, funded by the Regional Government of Castilla y Leon, Spain (July 2010 – December 2011). He was also President of the Debate Association of the University of Salamanca (2013 – 2014), promoting the first university-level debate encounter on the future of the European Union. In 2018, he enjoyed a Max Planck Scholarship for a research stay at the Max Planck Institute for Procedural Law, in Luxembourg.
